Your Garage

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 - Tutorials & Strategy Guides

Your Garage is where 98% of the game takes place in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. Knowing where to find things, what you can find, and what you can do will help you get started.

Get acquainted with your garage along with the available tools and upgrades in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015.

The Phone, Computer, & Camera

On your desk you'll find the Phone, the Computer, and a Camera. The phone is your key to jobs. This is how you'll make all of your money in the first stages of the game.

The computer is used to buy parts for jobs and later for cars you purchase at auction. When using the computer you'll find that there is a general parts shop, rim shop, and body shop. In addition there is also a special shop for the Maluch, which is a vehicle added by one of the DLC. Tunerz Paradize is a mod parts shop where you can get special parts to trick out cars when you purchase them from auction.

The camera lets you take screenshots. It is actually quite versatile and will help to make sure that your screenshot comes out clear with no cursor or selection lines. You can also pan, zoom, and tilt the camera.

In Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 the Phone is the gateway to Jobs, while the Computer lets you buy the parts you need. The Camera lets you take great screenshots.

The Oil Drain

The Oil Drain is tucked away near a ladder along the wall with the bigTV. It's pretty close to the big doors. This is needed when you drain oil, so that you can avoid a $100 service charge for making a mess on the floor.

See Oil Changes for more information.

You can find the Oil Drain in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 by looking in the front right corner of the garage near the ladder and big TV.

Tool Cabinets & The Repair Bench

The repair bench is the first bench to the left of the big doors. You can use this to attempt to repair many parts. This process can be improved by upgrading your repair skill, but the odds of success are really out of whack. Keep in mind that many parts require several successful repair attempts to bring them to 100%. You should also know that if you fail a repair attempt the part will be damaged and you won't be able to try to repair that part again.

Tool boxes are scattered around the garage; it is by interacting with these that you can purchase many of the upgrades for your garage. For more information, see Tools & Upgrades.

Keep in mind that you can click on the big garage doors at any time to go to the Auctions Center or the Old Factory Test Track (test drive).

The Repair Bench is the very first bench to the left of the main bay doors in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. Various tool boxes are scattered about the garage, which allow you to purchase tools and upgrades.

The Test Path & Paint Shop

You can find the Test Path and the Paint Shop along the Back wall of the Garage. The Test Path is used to diagnose brake and suspension problems, while the Paint Shop is used to repaint various vehicles. Please see Tools & Upgrades for more information.

You can find the Test Path and Paint Shop along the rear wall of your garage in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015.

Left & Right Lifters and the Center Parking Spot

You can move any vehicle in your garage by walking up to it and pressing M. This will allow you to move it to another location. Only your own cars can be moved to and from the add-on parking garage.

In total you can have three client cars in the garage at one time, one on each lifter and one in the center of the garage. No, it does not work to stuff a car in the Paint Shop or Test Path to get more cars into your garage. Those still count as being in the garage.

In Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 you have space for three cars in your garage. One can be placed on each lifter and one in the center parking space.

Parking

The door to the add-on parking is in the back right of the garage. You need to unlock this if you want to purchase cars at the Auctions Center. That is where you can make the real money, by buying, rebuilding, and selling cars.

The add-on Parking area can be found through the door in the back right of the garage in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015.

The Only Easter Egg

There is only One Easter Egg in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. It is sitting on the small table by the red chairs. It is a tablet featuring the main screen from Car Mechanic Simulator 2014.
